The challenge Following a global restructure that consolidated creative, media and technology capabilities under unified regional leadership, a major agency network needed to rapidly build out its APAC leadership layer across six markets. The requirement spanned Chief Operating Officers, heads of delivery, creative technology leads and senior programme managers, all in roles demanding candidates who could operate across disciplines, geographies and client types simultaneously. The challenge was compounded by the state of the agency talent market across the region. Senior candidates with genuine cross-discipline fluency, equally capable in creative, media and technology environments, are scarce at the best of times. In a period of widespread industry restructuring, many of the strongest profiles were either mid-transition themselves or being pursued by multiple competing networks simultaneously. The business needed a partner who could move quickly, map the market comprehensively and make a compelling case to passive candidates who were not actively looking. The approach Interval worked closely with the network's regional HR and operations leadership from a single coordinated brief, building a unified view of the talent landscape across all six markets simultaneously rather than approaching each in isolation. A consistent competency framework was agreed upfront to ensure quality and cultural fit could be assessed reliably across markets as different as Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia. For each role, Interval ran targeted direct search campaigns alongside broader market mapping, giving the client full visibility of the available talent pool before any decisions were made. Where strong candidates existed but were not actively looking, Interval invested time in building relationships and presenting the opportunity in a way that reflected the network's strategic ambition rather than simply the job specification. Throughout the engagement, Interval provided structured updates on pipeline status, market intelligence and candidate feedback, as well as a live interactive dashboard, enabling the regional leadership team to make informed decisions quickly without being drawn into the operational detail of the search process itself. The results Interval filled 22 senior roles across six APAC markets within a 120-day window. The two-year retention rate across all placements was 89%, reflecting the rigour of the competency framework and the quality of the candidate and client matching process.     < Back Email Migration to Microsoft 365 in the Construction Industry A global building materials manufacturer partnered with Interval to streamline and modernise its complex email estate, moving to Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online. This formed part of a wider IT transformation programme to increase operational efficiency, strengthen security, and enable scalable digital growth. Approach As part of its cloud-first strategy, the client chose to adopt Microsoft 365 as its core enterprise cloud platform - starting with a migration to Exchange Online. Interval was engaged to lead the end-to-end email migration project. An Exchange Online Project Manager and Solution Architect were deployed to work within the infrastructure team, overseeing a team of technical SMEs. The project covered requirements gathering, migration planning, application dependencies, archiving, data retention, end-user devices and clients, change management, execution, and project closure. In parallel, the project team supported a major domain consolidation initiative -technically assessing and planning the migration of all global domains to a unified .com domain. The work was delivered in alignment with the client’s established PMO standards (see success story on Infrastructure PMO). Outcome The project launched successfully with mailbox and application discovery completed in the first month. Legacy dependencies were identified and resolved through a triage approach - retiring, replacing, or remediating systems as needed. A key challenge was defining archiving and data retention policies across regions with varying legal and regulatory requirements. This was addressed using Microsoft native archiving, integrated with Azure AD and the client's HR solution. Mailbox migrations are now underway and tracked using a custom PowerBI dashboard.     < Back Strengthening Cybersecurity & Network Access Control A global manufacturing company partnered with Interval to enhance its security posture through improved Network Access Control. The project has significantly improved network policy compliance, visibility, and device governance across global operations. Situation Following years of organic growth and acquisitions, the client’s IT estate had become fragmented, with a mix of systems and inconsistent operational models. Despite IT spend exceeding 10% of annual revenue, the organisation’s digital maturity remained below the level required to support its strategic ambitions. Coupled with this, critical vulnerabilities in the IT environment had been identified. Investigations identified weaknesses in End User Computing (EUC), particularly inconsistent compliance with Network Access Control (NAC) policies. In response, the client launched the NAC Project as a key initiative to strengthen its cybersecurity defences and ensure consistent network protection across its global footprint. Approach To lead the NAC improvements, the client identified the need for deep subject matter expertise in Forescout, their chosen NAC platform. Interval was engaged to provide a specialist NAC Consultant to deliver the technical scope of the project. The key objectives were to: Review, update and deploy NAC policies Increase policy compliance across device types Improve overall network protection Provide training and resources to the client's IT teams to ensure the outcomes were sustained Our consultant worked closely with the client's Infrastructure and Security teams to review and address almost all sites globally. Custom workflows were developed for key device categories including Windows, macOS, Servers, IoT, and Storage. After securing agreement from device owners, a successful pilot was run at a single site before workflows were rolled out globally. Compliance monitoring was strengthened through regular reporting, automated alerts, and both user acceptance and penetration testing. Outcomes Phases 1 (pilot) and 2 (global rollout) were delivered on time, with the pilot completed within two months and full deployment within six months. The project enabled the identification and remediation of a large number of non-compliant devices - significantly reducing risk and strengthening the organisation’s cybersecurity posture. Additional value was delivered by integrating third-party systems into Forescout, increasing transparency and improving visibility across the NAC infrastructure. With a more secure EUC estate now in place, the client is in a position to explore BYOD and virtual desktop solutions as secure, cost-effective ways to provide internal access to resources.
